Weekend Pranayama Intensive

The use of regulated breathing and breath retention has clinically proven physiological effects that improve physical and mental functioning, providing improved mental clarity and the balancing of our autonomic nervous system.

In this practice based weekend intensive, Priyan will guide participants through a series of lectures and practice sessions that acquaint you with Prana or energy regulation using the breath, so as to achieve your firm grounding in the tradition of Hatha as it relates to the Five Bodies, Five Movements, Seven Energy Centers, Three Main Channels and the essential objectives of why we regulate these processes.

He’ll provide guidelines for safe and effective Pranayama practice including time, place and preparation prescribed by the tradition, so as to maximise its healing effects.
