Nithya Priyan

Certified ERYT500 Yoga Alliance instructor, Priyan, brings over a decade of Hatha/Vinyasa yoga expertise, cultivating minds and bodies as the founder of the Nithya Priyan School of Yoga. Author of "Joy in the Body," Priyan integrates science with Samkhya, Yoga, Tantra, and Advaita Vedanta, offering an integrative and evidence-based approach. Committed to yoga's heritage, he guides practitioners towards profound self-awareness and life purpose.

YUKO NAKAMURA

Yuko is a dedicated Senior Teacher at Nithya Priyan School of Yoga, where she also serves as the Head of the Beginner’s Programme. Holding an RYT500 certification from the Yoga Alliance and being a graduate of the School Curriculum, Yuko brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her classes. Specializing in Beginner and strong Hatha/ Vinyasa practices, she seamlessly merges tradition with innovation. Known for her clarity and challenging yet fun sequences which empower students, Yuko's classes are both rejuvenating and inspiring.

Ayurvedic Doctor: Nezeem Kadavil Uthuman

Dr. Nezeem Kadavil Uthuman holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) and a PG Diploma in Hospital Management. Specializing in Marma Therapy, he refined his skills at Sitaram Ayurveda Hospital in Kerala and collaborated with his father at Kama Ayurveda, addressing various ailments. Dr. Nezeem later practiced in Morocco, incorporating the ancient diagnostic technique "Nadi Pariksha" to accurately diagnose imbalances. His expertise in "Marma Chikitsa" involves precise pressure on vital points, inducing energy flow through hand techniques.

  • The retreat will incorporate Hatha/Vinyasa yoga traditions in the style taught in Nithya Priyan School of Yoga. You can expect mindfully paced inclusive and progression based Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation sessions that accommodate all levels of proficiency.

  • Absolutely! The retreat is designed for participants of all levels, providing a welcoming environment for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

  • Following a Sattvic Diet, your meals will be plant-based, but the resort will likely be able to provide and accommodate your specific dietary preferences. Send us an email to check.

  • We’ll refund your payment if you cancel more than 1 month before the date of the Retreat, minus a 5% fee to cover bank charges and service fees.
