Due to the rapidly evolving situation around the Global Pandemic of Covid-19 and the increase of imported cases into Singapore, we have revised our earlier Health Advisory and incorporated our latest measures into a coherent Code of Conduct Addendum.
In addition to our temperature checks already in place, all staff and students will also now be required to complete a Health and Travel Declaration.
We are also reducing the size of our class and increasing the distance between mats to maintain the Gov.sg recommendations for social distancing.
Please read to familiarise yourself with the measures that will ensure your safe practice and the safety of the Community.
DO NOT COME TO CLASS IF:
You are exhibiting flu-like symptoms and/or have a temperature of over 37.5 Degrees Celsius.
You, a family member or a close relation you are living with are currently serving a Stay Home Notice, Leave of Absence or Quarantine Order.
We will work to extend your ongoing class packages and memberships for up to 14 days if you are unable to attend classes due to the reasons stated above.
PERSONAL CONDUCT AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Do not be late for class.
Do wash your hands with soap or hand sanitizer for at least 20 seconds before and after class and refrain from touching your face.
Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze.
Minimize the use of yoga props, spray and wipe them down with the disinfectant and towels provided before and after use.
Wait till the yoga mats are wiped down by our staff before using.
Do not step on another student's mat.
Bring your own yoga towel, travel mat and towel to lay on our mats for your personal use during class and keep them washed regularly.
Refrain from physical contact based greetings and interactions with your fellow yogis.
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY
Handwashing and personal Hygiene remains the most effective way of stopping the spread of Covid-19. Knowing this, our School has implemented a Hand-Sanitizing Drill which all teachers conduct with their students before class, with a reminder to sanitize or wash hands again after class.
All students, staff and teachers will have their temperature checked and all will need to fill out a mandatory Health and Travel Declaration prior to attending class. Staff that fail this check will be replaced or their class cancelled. Students that fail this check will have their credit returned.
We will continue to uphold our level of cleanliness in the studio and have supplemented our cleaning efforts with regular professional cleaning of the school.
We have reduced the number of mats in our studios yet again to increase Social Distancing between persons. These mats are wiped and disinfected between classes.
Our teachers have been briefed to limit physical adjustments and assists to only what is necessary for your safe practice and to refrain from touching any part of your face.
